Late Fall and Early Winter
What's Biting?

Spotted Seatrout
Currently our main species we have been targeting as the water has cooled down is Spotted Seatrout. Recent trips have been producing large numbers of Trout and 50 fish days are common this time of year. This time of year is the best time to target Spotted Seatrout because they form large schools as the water cools in our coastal creeks and estuaries.
Redfish
This time of year Redfish also create large schools as the water cools. These Redfish schools can be found around docks or hidden in tucked away mud flats where they hide from predators like Dolphins. Late Fall and early Winter is an excellent time to sight-fish these beautiful fish as the water clears up.
